Comfort and sleeping

There are three large bedrooms that can each be configured as either a super-king double or two singles. 

Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor, with an en-suite that includes a bath tub and separate walk-in shower.

On the first floor is bedroom 2, including an en-suite with shower, and bedroom 3 which has bathroom opposite including bath tub and separate shower

Bedframes and headboards are handmade in solid ash, with mattresses made of all natural products. Bed toppers and duvets are anti-allergen, and pillows are either duck feather and down or have an anti-allergen filling. Sheets and pillowcases are high thread count cotton or linen.

Bathrooms are extremely spacious with Laufen porcelain and soft rain effect showers.

Fluffy towels, luxury washes and shampoos are provided

Warmth and indulgence

The house is extremely thermally efficient which means it maintains a perfect warm temperature inside even in the coldest weather. Great care has been taken in ensuring that Larch House has been built with sustainability to the fore and nature at its heart.

All windows are triple glazed with underfloor heating throughout from a ground source heat pump. And there is a large wood burning stove in the sitting room, though this is needed only on the coldest of days, it’s a wonderful luxury indulgence.

24 hour mechanical ventilation system keeps the air fresh, and recovers 95% of the heat in the air being expelled, to warm the fresh circulating air coming in. There is a n emergency electricity generator in the garden, which comes on automatically if the mains electricity should go down.
