Living and relaxing

On the ground floor is a large open plan living space with lounge, kitchen and dining areas. There is a full-height vaulted ceiling and vast windows with views to the garden, woods and mountains beyond.

The bright, spacious lounge area has large comfy sofas, a chaise longue and a central log-burning stove. There is a TV, Sonos sound system and record player with a selection of vinyl records, as well as a good choice of board games.

Our well-equipped modern kitchen has everything you should need for your stay (further details below), with a large breakfast bar and a separate dining area with table and seating for six people.

There is also a cosy cinema room with a Samsung Neo QLED 75” 8K smart television, seating and bean-bags. As well as an internal Finnish sauna with shower room, and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer

On the first floor landing is a further seating area and a work desk.

Fast wifi internet is provided via the Starlink system.

A cook’s kitchen

So often, in holiday lets, the kitchen is equipped with the minimum. Not here – this is a real cook’s kitchen with enough equipment available to prepare the most sumptuous meals, and plenty of well-lit preparation space.

Appliances include a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. And equipment includes a stick blender with attachments, scales, many pots and pans, a steamer, cake tin, baking sheets, and a selection of good knives.

There is also a Nespresso machine, large and small cafetiere, bean grinder and moka pot. Kitchen staples such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee and milk are included – along with some lovely welcome treats.

"A luxurious space to unwind and relax, feel right at home, and connected to nature."
